found myself

i took my camera on another adventure, to bolling hall in bradford. me, the model and make up artist had no idea which bus stop we were getting off, or where to go from there, so it was especially mentally traumatic when we got off the bus to find ourselves on a long empty road next to a huge, empty, white snow park, and the small path that existed was sheet ice.
thanks to an iphone though (stupid technology) we found a rather daunting, deserted college where there was a lone man shovelling snow, and he showed us the way. which also turned out to be wrong. but we found the museum eventually.

i wanted to dance around it. it was full of pretty lights and christmas decorations tingling and hanging off chandeliers, and pretty windows with meaningful images stained into their glass sheets lit the rooms with sun-shining-on-the-snow-bouncing-off light.
after the typical, boring entrance to a small museum that is always full of a hundred different books on every street and grain of sand surrounding the place, there was an old, dark kitchen. which i should have probably found interesting but i'm too into light and pretty shadows. then, though, walking through a little corridor, it opened up into a two floor high room with the biggest christmas tree you have ever seen (put inside, that is), covered in decorations, floor to ceiling, sparkling and twinkling.

that's all i have to say, really. that it was pretty. and there was one room called 'the ghosts bedroom.
i ran straight out that room
